Bob started doing design work for a national home building company where he learned construction methods while attending college. He took a position as a designer for a computer company (remember Commodore Computers?). This was where he was first introduced to cleanroom design. While at this job he met Cliff and Rob Satterfield, they were working for the company that was doing the install of Commodores cleanrooms. Bob went on to work for a couple of design firms, doing design work and project management for commercial projects. This experience led to a position of building inspector for a number of municipalities. As a building inspector Bob’s path once again crossed with Cliff and Rob. Bob made a positive impression again, and was offered the opportunity with AES to get back into the design / build of cleanrooms, that was back in 1990.
Bob says “I’ve been very fortunate to be part of an organization that wants to give its customers a project that they can be proud of.”
Most of my time outside of work is spent on my “farm-et” doing chores and relaxing. I also spend a good deal of time attending prog rock concerts worldwide.
