Rick is an Army Veteran who proudly served with the 498th Med Evac Air Ambulance group supporting special operations. He received a Business Degree from the University of New Hampshire and an Engineering Certification in HVAC Systems Design from Northeastern University.

Rick says “I have enjoyed working in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry for over 35 years. I have been fortunate to have been involved in some tremendous projects over the years. The cleanrooms we built have produced medicines saving countless lives. One of my most memorable projects was building the environmentally controlled film vault used for historic preservation of films and movies for the Library of Congress / National Archive Institute. It’s a great feeling to help preserve historically significant film media for future generations.

I truly enjoy being a part of AES. Watching the company grow, and being able to work with the many talented individuals that have joined the company over the years, it is so fulfilling. Being a part of the AES family and seeing the generosity of the Satterfield’s to members of their AES family when they needed it most is incredible.”

Rick’s life away from AES is spent with my wife of 39 years Marie. I like to spend time working on my car projects, woodworking, and spending time at Lake Lanier here in Georgia with our three grandkids.
